Kiccha Sudeep Receives THREAT Letter Amid Rumours Of Him Joining Politics; A Case Has Been Registered Against The Sender- REPORTS

Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep enjoys a huge fansbase amongst movie lovers. He has often left the audiences mesmerised with his amazing performances. It was being speculated for quite some time now that he will be making his foray into politics soon. Reports of the same started to circulate after he met minister DK Shivakumar in February 2023. Amidst all this, the actor’s manager Jack Manju has received a threatening letter.
The alleged letter, sent by an unknown person, threatens to release Sudeep’s private video on social media. As reported by Hindustan Times, a complaint was lodged by Manju at the Puttenahalli police station. A case has been registered against the anonymous sender under the sections of 504, 506 and 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The media publication reports that the senior officials are planning to hand over the case to the Central Crime Branch (CBB). Investigation of the matter is underway states the report. For the unversed, it is being reported that the 49-year-old actor will be joining the BJP on Wednesday, ahead of the Assembly election on May 10. In an interaction with India Today, he had said, “More than political parties, I need to know what my fans think about my foray into politics, which is the most important aspect for me. I have to consult them as well. Service can be done without politics. First I need to find an answer about myself, why I need to take the political plunge or I can still contribute on individual capacity.”
On the work front, Kiccha Sudeep was last seen in R Chandru directorial Kabzaa. The period action film also stars Upendra, Shiva Rajkumar, Shriya Saran, Sudha, Murali Sharma, and Nawab Shah in pivotal roles.
